This standard specifies the method for quantitative determination of phospholipid content by high performance liquid chromatography-evaporative light scattering detection This standard applies to crude oil-containing lecithin, oil-free lecithin and lecithin extracted from vegetable fats and oils. Due to the poor separation effect of lysophosphatidylethanolamine, lysophosphatidylinositol, lysophosphatidic acid, this standard is not applicable to animal lecithin, ruminant lecithin and enzymatically dissolved lecithin.
